CRCA grows, hosts Gola Jesus Film premier

Dennis Aggrey reports:
We at Christian Revival Church Association ‘are always praying with joy because of your partnership with us in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.’ ‘We are confident of this, that he who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

I remember praying and fasting some time back in 1999; asking God to use me plant twenty churches in my life time. Now I know that He is ‘able to do immeasurable more than all I ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within me.’

Our indigenous church planting movement call the Christian Revival Church Association which I am the Director has grew beyond what I expected. We presently have 27 churches, 8 preaching points and 32 pastors.  We also run 7 feeding centers where we feed 2,500 children hot meal three times a week with Bible teachings and Christian activities, 4 schools, 10 business project such as fish ponds, piggery, rice mill, goat farm, banana, peanut, coco nut, cassava and orange farms. The potential is there to grow CRCA operationally to a place of excellence with maximum impact. To God “Be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”

God has blessed us with great partnerships in promoting His kingdom here on earth. Through our partnership with Brookwood Church, South Carolina, USA, CRCA is hosting the “LIBERIA NATIONAL CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP TRAINING” schedule for June 15th to June 18.  We will be blessed with some of the fineness personalities who will be teaching us STORYTELLNG –The way Jesus reached people.
Some of the facilities are:
  1. Pastor Perry Duggar—Brookwood Church, South Carolina, USA
  2. Fenton Moorhead/Jose Alfaro—Brookwood Church, South Carolina USA
  3. Rick Leatherwood—Kairos International, Kurdistan
  4. Ed Powers—One Story Partnership, Texas, USA
  5.  Roland Bergeron—Water of Life, Liberia and USA
  6. Amos Harris—Great Commission Movement Liberia
  7. Dennis Aggrey—Christian Revival Church Association, Liberia

We will be learning the way of sharing God’s Word that gets people wanting more. Jesus painted pictures with words that people could remember. Most of the people Jesus taught were not graduates of a school. These are the kinds of people we are ministering to. The conference/workshop is very relevant to equipping Liberian Christian leaderships.

We have 200 pastors and Christian workers coming together for these four days live in conference at the Liberia Baptist Youth Camp.

Before this conference, 32 CRCA pastors are gathering in a town call Jawajeh for their regular quarterly five days pastor’s retreat. This retreat is schedule for June 10 to 15. During this retreat, we will have our newly constructed church and guest house dedicated to the Lord. Many Gola chiefs and elders will be present. Please pray that many of them will pray to receive Christ as we seek to share the Good New of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Another very important event I am asking you to pray with us about is the GOLA JESUS FILM PREMEIR. The “Jesus Film” is based on the Gospel of Luke. This film has been translated into 11 Liberian languages and the Gola translation is the twelfth one. The premier event will be marked by the presence of Gola tribal chiefs and elders, Gola executives from various businesses and government departments including the president of the Republic of Liberia Her Excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, the Speaker of the House of Representatives as well as special guests from the United States. This event is schedule for June 17th to be held at the Monrovia City Hall from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.  Brookwood Church, South Carolina, USA rise close to US$ 40,000 for this project. The launching of the Gola Jesus film will help accelerate our effort in evangelizing the unreached Gola people.

I guess you can see that I too personally need your prayer support. Pray that God will give me wisdom as I spearhead these projects amongst many other responsibilities.  Prey for good health and strength. Pray that I will be continually filled with the Holy Spirit and walking in the Spirit. Pray that Christ will be glorified through us and that we will be humble. Also pray against attack from the devil and his demons.

Please pray for our guests that will be traveling to Liberia. Pray for safe travel, good health, confidence, strength from the Lord and increasing measure of faith.
